Introduction 

MAPconnected’s activities involve cooperative meetings among OEMs, some of which could be perceived as competitors.   We aim to promote innovation within the Service & Warranty Management Lifecycle for the Motor Vehicle industry. To achieve this, we are committed to adhering to antitrust laws and ensuring that all our members understand and comply with these regulations. This statement is being distributed to our participants as commitment and a general guide for our activities and meetings.   

Responsibility Statement: 

Attendees have a responsibility to: 

  1. Understand and Comply: Familiarize yourself with antitrust laws and MAPconnected’s guidelines. Ensure that your business practices align with these regulations. 
  1. Act Independently: Avoid any agreements or discussions with competitors that could violate antitrust laws.  

Do Not Discuss, Exchange, Communicate during, before or after meetings: 

  • Prices, discounts, rebates, profit margins, sales terms, costs or pricing methods. 
  • Customer details, including identity, sales value, and terms. 
  • Supplier details, including identity, sales value, and terms. 
  • Current or planned bids or customer orders. 
  • Dividing customers, markets, or territories. 
  • Unannounced product developments or R&D plans. 
  • Marketing strategies and future business plans. 
  • Technical or commercial capabilities. 
  • Employee wages, benefits, or compensation. 
  • Any other sensitive information that could influence commercial decisions or strategy.
