Bio

John Philbrook is a Senior Manager at Midtronics, Inc., a leading provider of battery service equipment for the global automotive industry.

For most of his career, John has assisted major OEMs and Aftermarket accounts in the development and deployment of 12V battery management and test solutions to enhance vehicle uptime, customer satisfaction and management of battery warranty. He also holds multiple patents related to his work in the industry.

As OEMs started to transition to HV battery vehicle systems they turned to Midtronics as a trusted and successful partner. Midtronics has emerged as a leader in the development and manufacture of high voltage battery servicing equipment tailored to meet each customer’s service needs. Midtronics’ innovative user interface, combined with cloud-based analytics captures pack and component-level data as well as recording successful repair or replacement of the pack during service.

Over the last decade John has helped major OEMs transition from early flying doctor equipment programs to dealer level service & repair of HV battery packs reducing service repair costs and downtime of the vehicle for battery related service issues. Today thousands of Midtronics xEV solutions are in use globally supporting vehicle electrification goals for sustainability, decarbonization, and cleaner environment.
